The Cornerstone Forum
Keeping Faith & Breaking Ground
"The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone." Luke 20:17
This enhanced CD follows 'The Parable of the Russian Bells' as Gil Bailie explores human origins and the origin of human society. Human origins - or hominization - is viewed through the 'Angelus' pictures of Millet and Dali, and John Paul II's Theology of the Body in his exploration of nuptuality. Human social and cultural beginnings are presented in a condensed 'Girard 101' overview. A short video, 'Babies in Conflict', provides a contemporary example of mimetic rivalry and conflict.
(images of the Millet and Dali paintings and the 'Babies in Conflict' video are included on the enhanced CD and can be viewed when the CD is played on a computer's CD-ROM drive )
